It's been over two weeks now, and the R-series has been missing from Thinkpad's Website in Hong Kong.

I suspect perhaps it's being pulled from the Asian markets.
Can anyone confirm this?

It's sad to see it go. A wild guess would be it's being replaced by Lenovo's own C100. (Which I did prefer the R-series much much more).

Maybe only for HK? I still see R series in other Asian markets, although R51e seem to be the main R series machine now.

The C100 is actually not too bad, I have a few Acer's bought 2-3 years ago that are identical to the C100 in every way except for the brand name. Their keyboards suck but otherwise are good performing machines.
