I don't know how to use my R52 with a ...

Sorry. you can scold me an idiot or stupid or whatever. I don't know how to use a scanner. I cannot see my scanner in my thinkpad R52. I need to scan all my re service documents to my military officer so that i can go back and be my seargent or else i must to start from scratch. I am using a HP scanner and that stupid cover keeps slamming down on my hand. My R52 keeps showing me error. When i tried to scan something, my R52 says that my scanner is not connected. I already connected it but it tells me not connected. My buddy, Tan GX had used it once on his R52 and he scanned his military ID, his IC, his student matriculation card and his photos all so clear and neat. Mine is all blur and ugly and untidy. I always try to scan everything in my school but still the same result. So i figured it out:

New and good scanner + stupid user = cannot scan anything at all.

<sigh>

PS: sorry, i don't know where should i post this. Please move this to the appropriate forum. Thanks.

I only know that i used your scanner once and when i connected the scanner to my computer, it gets connected automatically and there is 1 wizard teaching you how to use the scanner. The school\'s scanner is also HP but you need to go into local applications and start your scanning from there.
Choose GIF. Not bitmap.
Choose colours not black and white and make sure your name and photo is clear or else your documents will not be accepted. If you cannot or don\'t know how to use a scanner, then use your computer spy camera and take a snapshot of yourself wearing your lanyard and military identity card.

PS: I got 1 copy of my own military matriculation card ID in imageshack. Image and name all very clear. But the background colour is so ugly. Green <yucks>

Ok, never mind. I will rescan my military ID card and all my cards and show you all the images. Wait... tomorrow i will show everyone. All images are blur and it keeps having this stupid cover slamming down. My R52 cannot change the images to clear but blur... [censored]. Must use my T60 to do the scanning and touch up. Thank you.

PS: give me 1 copy of your card image. Thanks. I need it as an example to show others inside here. One is clear and the other is blur.
You don't mind allowing others to see your identity right?

One more thing, what should i do to make my military card image looks bigger and clearer?

I don\\\'t mind others staring at my military ID card but remember to cover up my photo & my DOB. Thanks. I want some privacy. Or you can use my school matriculation card. Cover up my photo and my admission number, please.

---><I am not insane>. Rotate your scanned image and make it brighter and clearer by changing the background colours. Use gif file to save the image and save space. Bye, i need to do my revision now.
