7k100 and R50

Hi folks!

I have a problem with a Hitachi 7k100 (100GB P-ATA disk with 7200rpm) in a quiet old R50 (1830-7GG).

If i replace the system disk with this disk, the LED is constantly on and the notebook doesn't recognize the disk.

I've copied the original disk with DriveImage from the internal to the new disk, placed into the slim bay with an adapter.

Please help!
I upgrade Embedded Controller Program an BIOS to latest versions.

With my t42p the disk runs perfectly without any problem!
