Music stops when TP tilted?

#1 Post by CDN_Z60m » Mon Jun 19, 2006 8:12 pm

Sometimes if I tilt my Thinkpad too quickly my music skips, is this the anti-shock kicking in to protect the harddrive from sudden movement/impact? Or something else..

LOL; yeah...That is the HDAPS kicking in. Check the system tray area for a little HDD icon and a play/pause sign. Click on it to bring up the application. You can adjust the sensitivity settings as well as see a 3D model of your Thinkpad with its current orientation in real space. :)

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

ah good stuff, yes thats it
i disabled the icon because I have a thing about cluttered sys trays. I forgot I had that feature but it was running in the background.
