Xp SP2 and the Sound!

I just installed the SP2 on my A20m and after all : II have no any sound. I did check everything and Windows telling me the device is fine. I did download from the Update , installed but still no any succuss. It is a very fustrating fight with the SP2. Any sugestion; how can I get back my sounds?

I know it sounds silly, but sometimes the master volume gets reset. Have you tried repeatedly pressing the volume up button above the keyboard?
