After pressing the "Access IBM" blue button the window appears. If I enter anything into the search bar of the Access IBM window it gives me the message "aibm.exe needs to close".
Would deleting the program be harmful? It takes a lot of space.
I'm in Bangkok so it's a task of sorts to get info. The support center here will have a technician get back to me next week.
Any advice would be welcome.
Thank YOU!
Vicky

i've deleted that program and the recovery partition (i use acronis for that) in the first day when i got the laptop.
its more than safe, you can practically delete everything if you want but keep the power manager and the drive, heard some people here couldnt make them work in a total fresh windows instalation.
so go ahead!

More questions....
Thanks for the comeback re: Access IBM.
I'm very NEW to computers, running Windows and the only choice I see in this regard is to Add or Remove.
I couldn't keep any portion (as you suggested - power manager and drive).
I suppose selecting key ingredients to save would all be done from Dos? That thought is completely terrifying to me. Any suggestions?
and THANKS again!!!
