is there a way to put an XBLACK screen or similar to my IBM?

as the title says..
i have an R52 and i love it. it's solid and fast enough..but i envy those sony vaios with xblack or xbrite screens when i see them especially outside of the house during the summer months! i can't see anything on my screen when i'm outside! :(

There are films you can buy and put on your screen to increase the "gloss." Useful really only in bright sunshine and really dark environs, otherwise it presents nothing of a practical advantage to the user. :)

And like that, there are also layers you can apply that have the contrary effect (adding a matte finnish to a gloss screen) :P

thanks - do you know where i can find these layers to place on top of my screen to give me that glossy effect?
