as the title says..
i have an R52 and i love it. it's solid and fast enough..but i envy those sony vaios with xblack or xbrite screens when i see them especially outside of the house during the summer months! i can't see anything on my screen when i'm outside!

There are films you can buy and put on your screen to increase the "gloss." Useful really only in bright sunshine and really dark environs, otherwise it presents nothing of a practical advantage to the user.

And like that, there are also layers you can apply that have the contrary effect (adding a matte finnish to a gloss screen)

thanks - do you know where i can find these layers to place on top of my screen to give me that glossy effect?
