R32 Wireless Switch

#1 Post by Drumtochty » Fri Aug 11, 2006 4:46 pm

I am trying to help a friend some 400 miles away.

He is installing an IBM high rate Wireless minipci card in an R32. I believe the card can be switched on and off from the keybaord. Is this an actual switch if so where on the machine. If not what is the key combination to switch it on and off.

Hi,

There is no wireless on/off switch on the R32 keyboard -- at least not on mine. Unlike later ThinkPads which use the Fn-F5 combination to switch it, that is not the case on the R32.
