How to get my R52 CDRW/DVD software back again...?

I clicked on my computer and cannot see D:/ anymore. I tried restarting the thinkpad and reseat the ultrabay again and agin but still cannot see D:/ Then Mr Peacork (me) again show off to friends that he is smart and in the end, he burns his own feathers. I tried to run some software to get my D:/ back but worse of all, now the ultrabay cannot open at all. I pressed the blue button on the ultrabay and also used a paperclip to press on the emergency button, nothing happen.

Open "ThinkPad Configuration"-----"Device Bay",and choose "Enable".
Try it.

The thinkpad configuration is enabled... But the CDRW/DVD software is not there. Any more ideas before i need to go and rummage through my drawers to get my recovery disks and reformat the whole comp again?

Do you mean you need the software"Record Now"?You can find it in C:\IBMTOOLS\.Or you can download it from Lenovo'website. But I think "Nero Burning ROM" is better.
If you don't have your battery or CD-RW installed when you recover your system,PowerManager and Record Now will not be installed automatically.
