#1 Post by rscosworth » Tue Aug 22, 2006 2:55 am

Has anyone tried out an R60 for any length of time.

I love my r50e cos its the same as a t42 just a little chunkier.

Anyone lend some help?

I've played with it for a few months now .. anything in particular you would like to know about, or are you looking for a general opinion?

General feedback would be nice.

Would love a T60 but i think there overpriced.

Have an R50e at the moment which i only use for home and its great. Also have a T42 for work which is brilliant.

Cheers

I agree that earlier on, the T60 was pricey, however recently the prices have come down a lot. I know because I paid the higher price... :( having bought mine when they first came out. Lately I have seen some really low pricing on:
www.euclidcomputers.com
www.costcentral.com

You might check out these authorized resellers, I have used them both with great result. I know that Euclid ships worldwide and they are especially good about communication with the customers.

Cheers.... :D

archer6, thanks for those sites. Both have a T60 with SXGA+ that's only around $1,340, amazing.

I was actually wondering the same question. But after look more at the prices it seems like R60 is priced about the same as t60.

I was wondering the same thing because i was an R series owner
40+51 and i'm curious about the R60 its not available in my country all other models are available including T60& T60p X series Z61 E&M&P T43 and R52 are still available but no R60 i hope its as good as the previous R models our IBM-Lenovo dealer said they will not sell the R60 because the R series sales are slow he said so i never saw an R60 before a review from an owner would be nice thanks.
