z60m w/ ATI x600 dual monitor capable?

#1 Post by truthiness » Sun Sep 03, 2006 10:28 pm

The information I've been able to find regarding the x600 specs seem a little ambiguous when it comes to the ability to run a desktop across the LCD w/ an additional desktop monitor.

Is this possible out of the box?

so would the same hold true with the z60m with the x600 vid card?

I should be able to use the on board graphics to drive the laptop LCD and the ATI card to drive the external monitor, correct?

Would I be able to have one desktop across both monitors?

I have a z60m with x600 and run an external monitor with the desktop across both screens.

I love the extra working space!
