Docking station 2 for IBM TP R40

• Please help me to find out; what is the true about this issue.
• I try to get a Dock2 for my ThinkPad R40….
• The ThinkPad Dock 2631 currently does not support Linux operating system.
• The ThinkPad Dock II (2877) does not support Microsoft Windows 95 or Linux operating systems.
• The ThinkPad Dock and ThinkPad Dock II are not supported with the following:
o ThinkPad A21e (2655) and A22e systems
o ThinkPad R30, R31, and R32 systems
o ThinkPad R40, R40e systems
o ThinkPad R50e systems
o ThinkPad X** systems

Thank you for the Links but i still try to find out if the Dock2 is works with the R40. I want to add an Ultrabay2ooo to my lap-top and I have a PCI card for editing movies and I can install this to the Dock2.
Thank You anyway but the Port replicator not enough for this this!
