Insert blank CD-R causes BSOD Bad_Pool_Header

Hello there

Z60 with DVD/CD Multi Burner. Windows XP Home.

Insert music CD - Plays fine
Insert Data CD - Plays fine

Insert Blank CD-R, close tray, immediately get BSOD (Blue Screen) and message BAD_POOL_HEADER. This is Repeatable, happens every time

Called Lenovo, received NEW DVD/CD Multi Burner, same problem exists after installing new drive.

Unit is nearly brand new.

Any ideas anyone??

Same brand discs? What burning software?

Never use Symantec products.

Go for NOD32 Antivirus !!
