Z Series issue

#1 Post by Manarius » Wed Oct 25, 2006 7:46 pm

Whenever I lock my Z60m, the resolution goes wacky. It gets really big and every time I have to reset it. Is this a setting or what? I downloaded the Omega Drivers because they're better than the IBM ones if that makes a difference.

But, I don't have the Intel Graphics adapter, I have the ATi X600. I also have a Z60m with the newest BIOS there is from Lenovo.

It also only happens when it's locked. And, the weird thing is is that if I move the mouse to the edge of the screen, the screen moves over toward the mouse. I've never had a resolution thing do that before.

In lock mode also, it even shuts off if it sits for a while - like overnight.

Are you running the LCD at its native resolution or something higher? On my advisor's T41 which had a XGA screen (1024 x 768 native), it was possible to increase the resolution, and it used to behave exactly as how you mention. Try running your desktop at native resolution and see if the problem persists.
Now: T60 2613-EKU | T23 2647-9NU | 600X 2645-9FU | HP 100LX
Past: X31 2673-Y13 | T41 2374-3HU | T22 2647-AEU
