Are these temperatures normal

Hi,

I own a R52 1860-32q. Using power management I am able to throttle my 1.73Ghz cpu to 800 MHz. At 800 and no activity, my CPU temp is 55C and HDD temp is 39C. Are these temperatures normal? I'm from India where the ambient temperatures are 30C with 70% humidity.

Where are the air inlet vents for my Thinkpad. The air outlet louvers are on the left side next to Audio jacks.
