[censored]. Lenovo is scoring a serious F in my book. .. a month since ordering (on the phone), no word at all, now the model I ordered is canceled :) Before which it's price dropped six hundred dollars..

I agree with you. I was waiting for a solid review before I ordered one and now I'm stuck with a bunch of low res models across all of their lines. I really hope they have a UXGA wide screen T or I'm going to find a Core Duo UXGA T60p and call it a day.

I don't know what's up with Lenovo's site -- Z61p is advertised on the Z series page but there's no "Customize and buy" choice for it.

They are advertising things that they don't allow you to actually buy.

Spoke with a sales rep who said the hold-up and unavailability of z61p's are due to the WUXGA LCD panels being unavailable until mid-december.

Hey guys,

I've just ordered a z61p thru work, is there still a long wait on getting one?

This is the one I got. 9450A24

Everyone is hearing different things about their availability.

Most recent word around this forum is that they're not building any Widescreen models until after Dec 25th (which isn't too long of a wait.. I waited for two months before changing my order.)

That's going to be a sweet system, though!
