Registering fan error on A31

Hi All,

I just received my new system board for my A31. After installing all hardware the system board reads a fan error. I own two of the same model and I switched out fan and found that the fan was workign appropriatly, sent back teh system board exchanged it and again registers fan error. I have ordered a new fan and hope it just may be 'me.' Can anyone suggest other potential problems with the fan beside it being broken or the system board malfunctioning.
