Does R51e support integrated Bluetooth Daughter Card?

#1 Post by gunzi » Wed Nov 15, 2006 12:49 am

I need a DEFINITE answer.

There are lots of Bluetooth/Modem Daughter Card (bmdc / bdc) on eBay, and various models ( bmdc200 / bmdc-3 ... etc. ), but seems no one supports R51e officially.

Anyone knows this for sure? and Which model (if there is one) is it ?

Thinks in advance. :-)

are these IBM/Lenovo parts or generic parts..?
since they are RF devices they might be locked out if not approved for other than the particuloar notebook they were made for..

grab the hardware maintenance manual for your thinkpad to see which BT-modem cards are approved for your particular thinkpad..

all those are Ibm parts with FRU part number.

I have already search online for long. On IBM's website and the manuals, none are offically for R51e. But in other places, some say ( most are those whose sells them on ebay ) it does, but some say not.

Thank you for your info though. But what I need is a DEFINITE answer. Does anyone got a real experience with this?
