Volume level on Z61t

#1 Post by audiojon » Thu Nov 30, 2006 4:04 pm

Is there any way to increase the volume on this machine? With everything set to max (master, wave, hardware buttons) I still have trouble hearing anything out of these speakers. Please someone tell me there is a hack or something to get the volume to go louder than this. I'd hate to have to use headphones any time I want to watch a video or something.

One way to get the volume higher, if you've set all the various volume adjustments to the max and you are using WinDVD to play your video, is to go into the audio equalization settings and set it to the voice setting instead of none. Both on my R52 and especially my Z60t, it gets a lot louder.

Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately most of the video I'm watching is on the web. I haven't actually tried playing a DVD yet, but I do have WinDVD installed.
