touchpad problems

#1 Post by THE_IB » Thu Dec 07, 2006 5:58 pm

I've encountered a rather annoying problem with the touchpad of my R40. Everytime I left or right click, or tap the pad, I'm getting these really annoying system beeps. I checked the UltraNav settings to see if I can remove the sounds but alas I was unsuccessful. Is there any way for me to remove these sounds or am I stuck listening to a beep everytime I click something or tap the pad?

Did you check "config center / sound / sounds"?

Do you mean from the control panel in My Computer? Because I checked that and there was nothing to remove that sound.

I fixed the problem, apparently the click sound in the Accessibility Options for the handicapped was on, so I simply turned it off.
