External Monitor Output from z61m

Hi, I am wondering how a widescreen z61m with ATI Mobility X1400 will work with a 4:3 external monitor.

Case 1: Displaying video to both LCD and external 4:3 monitor/projector.

Case 2: Showing PPT to an external 4:3 monitor/projector using Multiple monitor and "Presenter View" settings in Powerpoint 2003.

In both cases, will the image be stretched vertically to fill the whole external monitor? In other words, will z61m support one widescreen LCD and another 4:3 external monitor the same time?
