Buying a z61t - How do I get the config I want?

#1 Post by leewalk » Thu Dec 14, 2006 4:28 pm

I've been searching for a way to configure and buy a z61t with the options I'd like, but I've been unsuccessful. Does anyone know how I can build a z61t with the following config?

Thanks for any pointers...

Not exactly but very very close. Only difference is 11/a/b/g wireless and model of Verizon card. The unit has Bluetooth even though it is not listed in the order. You can configure right on Lenovo's site.

Looking at the tabook, this is the closest I see:

9440-ADU Silver Core 2 Duo T7200 2.00 2GB 14.1" WXGA+ 120GB DVD±RW ✶ Intel 11a/b/g Verizon Blue Cam Finger CD No Oct 06

If you don't need the Verizon built in and the ThinkPad 11a/b/g/n is more important, then there is this:

9440-AMU Silver Core 2 Duo T7200 2.00 2GB 14.0" WXGA 120GB DVD±RW ThinkPad 11n28 Blue Cam Finger No Oct 06

You said it!! Actually $3,963.99 with the Verizon Card. It's the 4G memory that raised the price so high, $1700 plus from Lenovo! Those 2G memory sticks are very expensive.

I hope the price on 2G sticks drops. What are you going to do with 4G RAM in your laptop anyway?!
