R60 wireless issues?

I'm trying to get a few R60's working on the wireless network here at work and they are flaky as hell. I cannot get them to connect wirlessly in my office about 12' from an access point thats running G but if I take them to the main office they seem to connect to the B access point over there. I can connect my dell with a intel2915 in it to the network anywhere on the premises with no problem and the acer ones we have never gave me any grief. Does anyone know anything about getting these things to work properly with WPA or is there a known issue with them? Its driving me mad and I am about to contact my supplier and ask them what the hell is going on.
