Strange problem with wireless on R60e????

#1 Post by ace2109 » Sat Jan 06, 2007 8:55 am

Hi guys,
I got a new Thinkpad R60e this week and so far its great however today i have noticed that my wireless network connection disconnects itself after about five minutes??

I then have to do FN+F5 and turn it back on again. It has been doing this for the past half hour. I have not changed any system settings or anythingand its really bugging me.

Can anyone help or has this happened to anyone before, if so what is the solution???

I have no wireless issue with my R60. You can try to update your thinkpad wireless software. :-)

BTW: You are using IBM Access Connection or Microsoft wireless utility? :?

extensive flood of spywares can lead to intermittent disruptions in your wireless, as far as I'm concerned.

Try this. Create a new account & make a wireless connection.

Spywares are user-specific, viruses are program & OS-specific.

Almost all of spywares are embedded in the documents & settings folder.
