Hi, I know the user/hard disk password for our R51 but have forgotten the supervisor password. BIOS update is set to require a supervisor password. I was doing some other software installs (in an effor to get the wireless to work with Access Connections, but that's a separate sob story), and mistakenly told it to install a BIOS update. Of course it eventually asked for a supervisor password, which I could not remember. Now every time I boot, it takes forever then asks for the password, and when I put in the normal user password, gives me the 0199 error - too many supervisor password tries. I can now hit ESC, and it will boot, but is there any way to clear that error so it just forgets about the BIOS update ? Booting was already slow, now it's even slower.
Thanks very much for any ideas on this,
Karen Roberts
