Hi,
I've been thinking about rebuilding my battery pack (it's totally dead.. doesn't last 4 minutes...) and i'm wondering how to open it... ?
Does anyone know how?
Is it cost effective?
Is there some website about it?
Thanks in advance!

Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Cracking the case is fairly straightforward, although not without peril. The cases, seem to be of a `clamshell; design. They are usually glued together and therefore *CAREFULLY" pried apart to break the glue and not the plastic.
Cost effectiveness is dependant on finding the right replacement cells, and your ability to perform the operation. I found cells on ebay that were actually 3 cell phone battery packs, that I had to disassemble to get to the cells. Assuming Lithium Ion cells, you must be very careful.
LITHIUM ION CELLS CAN KILL YOU IF YOU SCREW THINGS UP. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU DO HURT, MAIN, OR KILL YOURSELF OTHERS OR DAMAGE YOUR PROPERTY.
That being said, one must be careful to not overheat them or puncture them. If you try to solder to them, make sure your heat exposure to the battery is minimized. If you search back through the forum you will find some posts of mine about rebuilding the pack for a 600X.
Finally, these are two good sites about the 600 series battery problems and some rebuilding information as well.
