Intel 2915 ABG works on R40e!

As a newbee on the forum I'd like to thank everyone for their helpfull contributions,it has helped me a lot upgrading my R40e.
For anyone having touble with installing a wireless lan card in this model and get it to work:after lot of problems with a original IBM card(even after the 1802 patch)I am happy to let everybody know that the original Intel 2915 ABG card works like a charm!
Just download the drivers from Intel's site,install them and then install the card,it works flawlessly,even without antenna's which my model also lacks and will have to be installed as the next step.
Hope this helps anyone outthere with this model.
