Z61t Screen Question

#1 Post by Quest » Mon Feb 05, 2007 7:11 pm

I am considering the purchase of a Z61t. I have one very important question.

Does the screen open up to a 180 degree angle? For example, if I am sitting down indian-style, I want to tilt the screen back rather far as the notebook is in my lap

I actually just bought an Apple Macbook Pro but the screen only opens up to 120 degrees, and I am very tall, so this is quite annoying. I have to hunch over to see the screen, but I would rather sit up straight.

if you can help me answer this question, that would be great.

Thanks!

That was a flaw in my old 15" AL PB as well; I hated that and I'm not even that tall!

To answer your question, YES, the Z61t's LCD folds over to 180 degrees.

My z61t is just a great combination of looks (Titanium) and features (widescreen, 100GB 7200 RPM HD, 2 GB RAM, and the best keyboard on the market).

Try it!

I would say it weighs about 5lbs 1/2 lbs and I have the 4 cell battery with titanium lid. It's not a lightweight like my X60s but for a 14" widescreen, it's not bad at all.

It's a good compromise between the too heavy 15' widescreen notebooks and 12" ultraportable notebooks.
