Motherboard replacement

#1 Post by guizado » Mon Feb 05, 2007 9:27 pm

Hi, recently i had some memory issues with my A20p, after buying some 256Mb sticks, that decided to work for a couple of days, i switched back to my 2 128MB sticks, wich after a while my system starts giving me blue screens, and crashing on post, so i figured it was from the MB.
My main doubt is, my Mb has a chip near the memory slots (see pic)

And any other common A20 MB doesnt have this chip.

Would it be ok to buy a MB whitout this Chip??

Another quick side question, which models of thinkpads can i fit my Screen on??

Thanks Guys
