Hi there. I recently reloaded a work laptop with XP Pro (it came loaded with XP Home, which didnt jive well with our servers)

Anywho, I noticed in the Device Manager that the Ethernet Controller, located under "other devices" is banged out. I tried pointing it to what I thought were the appropriate drivers located under C:\drivers\win\ethernet, but its not finding it. Any thoughts? I downloaded the Broadcom ones and was able to join my laptop to the domain, etc, but for some reason this one thing is banged out.

Also, on a seperate note, which driver do I need for the wireless drivers? I downloaded some, but do not see in the tray any wireless icon to choose available wireless connections to connect to our wireless at work. HELP!

You should look in the directory:
C:\DRIVERS\WIN\ETHERNET\TOOLS\DRVINST

Run setup.exe to install the drivers.

Or you should be able to install the drivers manually by having windows look in
C:\DRIVERS\WIN\ETHERNET\WINXP
