r30 cpu

Hi all,

I'm new here and this may be a dumb question,

but, can the cpu in a r30 be upgrade?
T20, T21, T23, R30, R31

Nearly a year since this question was asked, but since I have info, I'll answer it.

No, the entire motherboard (planar) would need replacement since the CPU is soldered to it. R31's do have CPU sockets.

Here are the R30 planar options w/part numbers;

Planar P-III 1 GHz 12P3832
Planar P-III 1 GHz w/1394 12P3836
Planar Celeron 900MHz 12P3828
Planar Celeron 800MHz w/1394 12P3824
