Wireless speed problems

I had problems with Ad-Aware..laptop would crash when trying to update.

Sent report to MS...don't usually bother but the box kept coming up after each crash...anyway page came up

It fixed the problem with Ad-Aware updates but since then my wireless speed has dropped to 11 Mbps...was a constant 54 before.

Did a system restore and speed went back to 54 so i'm certain it's the Wireless Lan update.

Would appreciate any ideas/thoughts on this...thanks.
