comparison between Intel GMA900 & ATI 7800 64MB?

or ATI Radeon X300 and ATI FireGL™ 7800? both would be 64MB.

Does any of these applications use 3D acceleration? If not, then it shouldn't make a difference. However, the GMA is DirectX9 compliant, if I remember, while the 7800 isn't. This may be an advantage of the GMA. The X300 is also DX9 compliant, and significantly faster than the GMA and the 7800.

I think the issue with the 7800 and the 900 are they do not have vertex and pixel shaders which means gaming issues. The 7800 is the same core as the 7500 but with more memory. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
