Now that I've solved the overheating problem, my R31 is doing a great job.
However, it takes longer and longer to boot up and shut down - something like 5 minutes for each. I've cleaned out the cache and prefetch etc, run CCleaner and NTRegOpt etc. That made no difference that I can tell.
What I did notice was that the registry is now about 35 MB. That seems very large to me - is it common for it to grow that large? The machine is a few years old, and is used extensively, but with relatively few "new" software items.
Any views? Anything I can do to speed things up?
