Z60m BAD_POOL_HEADER BSOD with MemStick Pro
Z60m BAD_POOL_HEADER BSOD with MemStick Pro
Hello:
I get BAD_POOL_HEADER BSOD everytime I insert a Sony CyberShot Memory Stick Pro in the Z60m built-in card reader. I have no problems reading SD cards (have not tried any MMC or MS). Have the latest Ricoh 4-in-1 drivers, etc. installed from Lenovo website.
Anyone else having similar problems or know of a solution?
Thanks.
VM.

I believe it's most likely a Windows issue / or the memory sticks you guys are using.

I did a quick Google search on this last night. I did not find anything really helpful, however I did run across a report on the Dell forum of a user having the exact same error with the Memory Sticks. One of the leaders on another forum said that this error with BAD_POOL_HEADER BSOD is hard to pin down. The consensus seemed to be that this is generally caused by a hardware driver issue. No one seemed to know exactly what the error meant. But I stress again, that I only did a quick search. A more thorough reading of all the links may have yielded better information.

Same had_poo;_header BSOD here with T61p running Windows XP SP2. I believe it's a software/OS issue since it's a Ubuntu-Windows dual-boot machine and I only have problem under Windows. Also memtest86+ reports no errors.
T60 (2007-66U): upgraded to C2D T7400, 2GB DDR2-667, Hitachi Travelstar 5k250, 14" SXGA+, ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 (sold).
T61 (8891-CTO): C2D T7300, 4GB DDR2-667, Hitachi Travelstar 5k250, 14" SXGA+, Nvidia Quadro FX 570M (128MB).
