Z61t poor wireless in Vista?

I have recently upgraded to vista. I was copying files to a nas drive this evening through a wireless home network (54mbps). I decided to put on the task manager and look at the wireless network connection performance, and I was only getting a max of around 15% utilisation under a number of tests.

My connection is only "good" 60%, but this seems to be the max I can get out of vista.

Does anyone get higher throughput than this over a wireless?

Mine is never higher than 35% and average is around 25% using Linksys WRT 350N (configured for G only) with Atheros a/b/g/n

Which router are you using?
Have you altered any settings for wireless?

Am using a Dlink DSL-G604T - and no I havent changed any of the settings.
