Perhaps some of the more knowledgeable members on this board are able to tell me about the BIOS power settings (max performance, balanced) and if these override the XP power management as we set it in the Thinkpad configuration.
Specifically I am interested to find out what the implications are of using the BIOS setting "balanced".
