Upgrading memory on Z60M.

Hi,
I currentely have a Z60M (2529-FKG), and i want to upgrade the ram on it from 1Gb to 2Gb.
Can someone answer me these questions:

- Is there a guide somewhere to cracking open my Z60M so i can perform the upgrade?

Yes it would work, but PC2-4200 might be cheaper and would work just as well.

www.newegg.com has great deals on memory. 2 gb sells for under $120.

The site will ask for you computer model and recommend all the compatible brands of memory. Plus there is no tax and shipping is either free or dirt cheap. You can save a few bucks by purchasing you memory in a matched pair (1gb x 2).

Good luck...it works perfect in my unit. I bought the G.SKILL brand...DDRII667 - PC2-5300.

OOOPS...missed the fact that you are in the UK...do look for the G.SKILL brand...it works fine.

Theres only about £3 in it tbh, between the 4200 and the 5300.
Im suprised the RAM is suddenly so cheap, only last month, it was listed at over £200!

Just need to see if theres anywhere that can beat 2x1Gb modules for £80 now. :p
