my a22m system board died recently on me. it uses a XGA video chip. does anyone know if i replace the board with an identical board that differs only in that it uses a VGA chip, will it be compatible with my existing
XGA LCD monitor? i currently run 1024x768 resolution on the XGA. does a VGA run the same resolution? cost savings is about $200, which may persuade me not to fork out for a new notebook.
thanks
Is VGA system board compatible with XGA monitor?
