R51 (Are batteries covered under warranty)?

I recently bought an R51 which is under warranty until 08/07. As the title says are batteries covered under warranty, if so how much wear has to be present to qualify? mine is presently at ~65% of original spec.

Scott,

I believe batteries only have a 1 year warranty. Call Lenovo to verify.

Yes battery warranties are only one year even if the machine is three.
