R52 Hard Drive upgrade

#1 Post by ymemuser » Sun Jun 17, 2007 1:15 am

I am getting new R52 from Lenovo. Should I expect some difficulties to upgrade the hard drive from 40/5400 to 100/7200? Any fresh experience? Thanks

Yes, everybody who has computer is from fatwallet. I am getting my HDD from www.ewiz.com. It is my first purches from them: "Big Sale Hitachi 100GB (0A25015) 7200rpm ATA100 8MB Notebook Hard Drive (2.5 inch) Free Ground Shipping $103.21" Sorry, I don't know how to provide link. They shipped it next day. I think it is the best price around at the moment.

My Seagate drive is very cool and quiet. I see no problems upgrading the drive. Make sure your burn off the recovery discs first.
