Re: R51 KB

Can anybody tell me if the R51 KB is the same as another model; such as T4x? I just picked it up this morning off the local Craig's list. It needed a little work, but the price was right ($200) and I had upgrade parts. It was in the original condition (1.3 P M, 30Gb HDD, 128Mb RAM). I happen to have 512Mb of RAM, and a Atheros MPCI card, so that part is already upgraded, but it needs a KB since one of the little "ears" that hold the bottom of the folding mechanism of the "P" key is broken off. Otherwise the machine is fine. If I can find a cheap CPU to put in the thing, it will be a nice little machine.

Great "head's up" on the seller. I'm now in the process of getting that keyboard and a combo drives as well. Thanks for the help.
