is bluetooth antennae installed even if R52 has no BT?

I ordered one of the $499 r52s and also ordered an IBM used pull BT/daughter modem mini pci card. I see after ordering that the BT antennae is a separate part and wonder if it is installed by default. I put a wireless card in my dell M70 workstation and the wireless antennae was there even though the laptop was ordered without wireless.

If you know the model number, you can look here: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... 58947.html
The Bluetooth antenna is #4 on the diagram.

Once you have the R52, you can look to see if there is a spare, third antenna lead - look under the keyboard next to the video cable.

If so, you're lucky. If not you can either 1) use the AUX wifi antenna lead, or 2) add pretty much any antenna and snake it under the keyboard or LCD frame.

You should have picked up the IBM BT/modem CDC combo adpater, BMDC300 Bluetooth IV.
