A30 power issues

#1 Post by djb » Mon Oct 18, 2004 11:34 am

My A30 started giving me a code 190 critical low battery message. I am runnning on AC power and the battery is not even in the machine. Now, the computer will not boot unless the battery is in. The power meter on the windows taskbar now indicates that the machine is running on battery power even though I have the AC Adapter connected. I have checked the AC adapter and it is fine. Can anyone help with this problem?

Try re-loading the latest BIOS version again and then selecting DEFAULT values in the BIOS then resetting the TP....

Should sort out the problem, ***IF NOT,*** your gonna need a new mobo soon    sorry

same pb on my A31p board, but it not boot xp, so in bios i put no power management, but actually for me, a component had burn: put system board out, power it, no cpu needed no thing needed put 16,5v adapter, and put your fingers every where to find abnormal heat, power it on with kb.
