R50p USB / bluetooth problems

I recently bought a used TP R50p. Wonderful machine, but i have 2 problems with it:

USB:

This doesn't seem to work. when i plugin an optical USB mouse for example, the red light in the mouse is lit, but there is no movement in the pointer when the mouse is moved around.
The device manager says that USB is working correctly.
PC doktor 5 doesn't find any issues.

Bluetooth:

Bluetooth is turned on (fn + f5) and the bluetooth light is on. The appropriate software from IBM is installed, but i the bluetooth module just isn't recognized by windows.

Can anyone give me some good advice?
