Flexview Screen aka IPS for Z60t?

#1 Post by X41Z60t » Sat Aug 18, 2007 2:36 pm

Hello all. First time post...

Recently purchased a Z60t 14.1" widescreen as a companion to my X41 Tablet.

Enjoy both very much, but feel the screen is a little faded in sunlight on the Z60t. Never really bothered me on the X41.

Anyone know if you can purchase a Flexview Screen to install on this notebook series?

Or, has anyone been sucsessful in having some other treatment applied to their LCD screen to produce a brighter screen?

Thanks.

There aren't 14.1" widescreens with Flexview technology.

You may look into replacing the screen with a similarly sized one used in Sony, Dell or HP laptops. These brands tend to use nicer displays than IBM/Lenovo.
Microsoft Surface 3 (Atom x7-Z8700 / 4GB / 128GB / LTE)
Dell OptiPlex 9010 SFF (Core i3-3220 / 8GB / 8TB); HP 8300 Elite minitower (Core i7-3770 / 16GB / 9.25TB)
Acer T272HUL; Crossover 404K; Dell 3008WFP, U2715H, U2711, P2416D; Monoprice 10734; QNIX QHD2410R; Seiki Pro SM40UNP

Thank you...

I will look into this.

Also, any suggestions on contrast or colour settings that migh help with the washed-out screen background?
