USB or PCMCIA audio for R40

#1 Post by silverfirebird » Wed Aug 29, 2007 11:47 am

I've been looking for some decent audio hardware for my R40. I was wondering what would be better USB or PCMCIA?

I've been reading other posts and articles on the internet but I'm not too sure though. I was looking at the Audigy 2 ZS but I'm sure if I should get it or not. I'm concerned that it might not work my system.

What are you trying to do with the audio? Is it something that the IBM sound hardware can't do?

I have seen someone having good results with Echo Indigo DJ PCMCIA Cardbus Sound Card on this forum.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
