ram for a R51e

ram for a R51e

will this ram work in my thinkpd R51e can i use the faster 5300 DDR2 or just the 4200

TP 600x (650 mhz old but still chugging along)
TP R51e (Vista Util, 1.7 ghz, 2g of ram running winxp now & MUCH happier)
Toshiba Satellite A135 Wife Computer
Dell Insprion 5160 has problems (It was cheap)
TP A30 RIP it just died don't know why (YET)

PC2-5300 is backward-compatible for PC2-4200 but it will run at 533 Mhz instead of 667 Mhz.

Ok thanks, thats what i thought but i just wanted to be sure before i purchased some ram for it. Need some ram this windows vista is a ram hungry sucker.

I may be wrong but I don't believe DDR2 will work in a R51.
