A31 HDD Mode

#1 Post by jrv331 » Thu Sep 13, 2007 3:00 pm

In the BIOS I don't see any section with information about my HDD, nor any options to change compatability modes. Is this supposed to be automatic?
Thanks
John

I don't quite understand what you mean by compatibility modes. ANY PATA 9.5mm drive will work in A31P...as for the size, the largest I've had was 100Gb.

The only time you'll see HDD anywhere in BIOS/booting sequence is if you set your boot mode to "diagnostics", and even then it's just going to give you the model # of the disk, which you presumably already know...

Let me know if I can be of any additional help...

All the best.

Look in Device Manager. Google the part number, all will be revealed.
