A31 Video

I searched but did not see the answer. When I look at my video properties screen it says I have 16mb ram however the the specs from IBM say I should have 32mb. Which is correct?

would it be possible to add the rest of the type / model id to your signature, the next 3 letters/numbers e.g. 2652 "2AG".
I believe 2652 TPs came with 16 or 32 VRAM, that much I can confirm. BUT, AFIK the Radeon 7500 was 64 VRAM

Sorry its C4U. In reading the specs the A31 had 32 video ram and the A31P had the 64.

According to the tawbook.pdf file, the 2652-C4U has 16MB of video memory. Some A31 systems did come with 32MB but those had 15" SXGA+ screens. As yours seems to have the XGA panel, then only 16MB is on-board. The A31p systems with the UXGA displays do have 64MB.
